If you are not yet using AI - it's not too late. Here's what you need to know about the new revolution.
Jul 26, 2025
There is a new industrial revolution and it is unfolding right before our eyes.
This revolution is not about mechanical machines, physical inventions, steam power, railroads and new material like steel.
The world is in a race to build systems powered by AI.
AI is already integrated into nearly every business sector, from real estate to agriculture, there is fundamental shift in the way we do business.
As for our human experience, the shifts are also noticable.
The mantra has been shouted from the rooftops, "get on board, this train is leaving the station, and you will be left behind."
But the conflict to the average person is deeper than simply to adopt, or not adopt the technologies.
It is the question of where to start and how to navigate the immense amount of information available, while still running your business.
Here are three strategies to help you navigate the changing landscape of AI to stay ahead in your business and life.
1. Just start exploring.
"The next level of success isn't waiting for more strategy. It is waiting for your visibility." - Jen Gottlieb.
It is easy to get caught in a mode of planning and strategizing, rather than simply picking a tool a week and learning how to navigate it.
Or, maybe you participate in a cohort or invest in a mentorship program that teaches AI.
Consider using ChatGPT every day to start systemizing your life, and then move into asking the model questions about your business and how to systematize everything from lead flow to prospect follow up.
Just last week I took two days to build out an entirely AI driven content engine for my local city of San Diego to provide updates on development, housing, and of restaurant and business news.
The voice you hear and the image you see are trained by me, but they are not me.
A wise man said, if the tech is 80% there, just go with it.
Choose progress over perfection.
Schedule one hour each day to focus on your AI learning and created useful tools you can share with others.
2. Test and experiment like a mad scientist.
If you look at the most successful people in your industry, what do you notice?
Once you look past the Lambos and fancy parties, you discover the most successful people simply test and experiment, and they are bold enough to put themselves out in the world.
They do it on a consistent basis for the long haul.
Meaning, stay the course. It will take twice as long, be twice as hard, and cost twice as much.
This is where 95% of people get lost and drift off course, because no one said it is easy.
But those who stay the course, whether it is AI or whatever comes next, will win.
Continue building and sharing what you learn along the way.
Testing starts with simply putting something out there.
Consider the most challenging aspect of your business.
Experiment with your fulfillment process.
3. Remember that there is no one like you, and go all in on the one thing that only you can do.
Are you an exceptional leader?
Are you exceptional at connecting with others?
Are you a visionary?
Are you really good at the customer relationship?
Are you an expert marketer or creator?
Teach what you have learned. Show up. Lead. Expand. Grow.
The AI revolution is not slowing down. It is your responsibility to chart your course, and go all in.
The most successful people are not the smartest.
They simply have the grit and resilience to never give up.
